Fabulous Mustangs Winter 1983 article on SAAC 8 with picture of 2148's interior guarded by a cobra and mongoose. I got two taxidermy cobras fighting a mongoose and one stand-alone cobra with the car. They were in pretty rough shape but with a little glue and glycerine they pass the 10 foot test! Most people don't want to get any closer than that. John told me to put one of them in the driver's seat and I won't have to worry about people sticking their nose in the car. So far I'd say he was about right!

Can't tell you how cool it is to be able to connect with people who were there, back in the day, when John was having fun with his pride and joy. I feel like I'm not just caretaker of a car, but of a piece of SAAC history and each time I hear from someone it paints a more complete picture for me of the history of that car. Thank you for that!

In the overhead picture of the Dearborn parking lot, my car is third from the bottom right. White '68 with black rear window louvres. Webers were on the car then.

I don't know who the crowd of people was standing around the car. Probably John's spies?

LMAO! All I can say is, I did it first in BOTH CASES! He got the first SHELBY lettered Weber intake though! My best to John!
