I am curious about the addition of the supercharger which was not factory original. Doesn't this cause a big deduction in SAAC or MCA judging?

Deduction would be typical if entrant could not provide reasonable proof that it was installed at the dealer before the first owner took delivery when new. There are a lot of things effected by the supercharger addition like carb, fuel line, air cleaner, fuelpump ,belts ,pulleys to name a few. It would not be a deduction for just one thing.

Of course those deductions are only most relevant in concours venues where the point is to get it as close as delivered as possible. Day 2 modifications like the Paxton if executed correctly can make a other wise non concours car more desirable.

I'm not well versed in 67s.  What is the consensus on the AM/FM claim?  All I see is Shelby invoice showing radio for $47 and change.  Seems a little high for an AM.  Another sheet shows options of Mag Stars and AM/8track.  I don't recognize the form.  Then there's an early repair for AM/FM not working.  It's dated 7/31/67, car was sold 6/20/67.

In 1967, retail pricing for the AM radio was a $57.51 option, while the AM/FM was a whopping $133.65 option, with the AM/8-track radio rounding out the factory radio offerings at $128.49

Thanks Bill.  Just seems like a lot of money for an AM radio, plus the seller's claim of it being a factory AM/FM.  You could fill the tank 8-10 times for the price of that AM radio.

The seller did post an invoice in the comment section from one month after the car was sold stating AM/FM radio not working.
