It looks like a very nice car . It is apparent the restorers were trying for a assemblyline look and detail. By looking at the under hood shots and all of the non original mistakes it tells me the Rick Hendrick Heritage Center Collection restorers need to go back to Shelby school for at least the basics. It is not like we don't give freely the proper information on the SAAC and the Concours forum if someone asks. I can only imagine that the same percentage of mistakes exist in other items not seen in this picture and other areas of the undercarriage. A buyer better know what they are looking at before bidding or have someone that does if they don't want High expectations surprised when the supposed "Concours Level Rotisserie Restored" car doesn't place well in a major Mustang /Shelby concours venue. The things seen can be corrected it just takes knowledge ,time and money. Those things need to be factored into auction bid price and your expectations.

Holy cow, did you all see the final price of this car at auction?  $270,000!  I didn't expect that.

I was there the cars were priced where should have been after adding the fees. The Boss was a pretty solid car driver quality. It was a good buy for someone. The paint was a 10 footer. The Mach 1 the same way. The 67 Shelby brought good money. A 63 Falcon Conv. That Jimmy Buffet once owned brought around 230k before fees.

2 -  67 - gt500s  at GAA only real shelbys at that auction  yet none at big Fl mecum auction out of 36 shelbys and only 1 at BJ  last month kinda odd !!
