I used to really like that event, it used to have a great turnout with many real cobra's and Shelby Mustangs. If I had not escaped California and didn't fear stepping in a little fecal matter I would still go.

It used to be free to attend, hopefully requiring tickets dose not hurt the turnout. Post some photos if you guys can I am interested to see what shows up.

I think it's still free to park - if you bring an appropriate car - If you want museum access you need to pay.

Turned out to be a pretty decent day weatherwise and the number of cars that showed up was surprising. The panel discussion was interesting and went on for about an hour. Aaron Shelby, Gary Patterson, Bruce Meyer, Lance Stander, and Tracy L. Smith. They all had some interesting stories to tell. There were no '67 or '68 Shelbys and only one '69. The only time I've been to a show where there were more '65's than 67's, 68's, 69's and 70's! I didn't take a bunch of photos, but here's a few.

Saw a short piece on it on KTLA5  news in L.A. this afternoon.Weird thing to me was they had zero shots of vintage Shelby's,only new gen.Opening and longest shot was of a custom painted early mustang coupe...go figure... ::)

Yeah, I ended up going. It was amazing that the weather cleared up for about 4 hours and it was just perfect, I took my Ford GT and it was pretty nice. I was able to meet Camilo Pardo and he signed my car and I got to chat with him for about 10 minutes next to my car which was really cool. It was my first time visiting the museum and that place really is amazing and I didn't even do the basement tour which I guess has another 250 cars but you have to pay extra for, here's a few of my pics, including a couple of Steve McQueen's cars ,his Jag XJS was to die for.
