There is a nice article about a green 1968 GT500 fastback in the Jan/Feb 2024 AACA "Antique Automobile" magazine.  The owner inherited the car from her father, who first let her drive it as a teenager.  The car has been recently restored and the owner has lots of original memorabilia. She drives quite often. I do not know the VIN.  The Shelby is owned by Sarah Patterson, wife of Gary Patterson, president of Shelby American in Las Vegas.
Just nuts.

No.  The publication is for members.  I could scan and post but am not sure if that violates any copyright regs.

Best to see if you know anyone in the Antique Auto Club of America in your region to have a peek.

I never met Sarah but she was involved locally with the local Mustang club here in Detroit I believe  when she met Gary. I believe she married him and moved to Vegas?  She and Gary are back for Mustang events from time to time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-IZ_2CjSx0

I believe the car is usually displayed in the Shelby Museum in Las Vegas. it is there right now, and it is beautiful. Gary told me a couple years ago that it had been in his wife's family since new. Sounds like she'd be the perfect wife!

If you watch the video I posted above you will see Sarah's dad purchased the car out of Texas in 1999. She used to live by me in the Detroit area  until she met Gary from what I have been told. I never met her.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-IZ_2CjSx0
