Black pinch weld paint?

What was the correct way to paint the black pinch weld?  I know the overspray underneath however looks like a soft tape line along the rocker??  Thank You!

Yes, it was apparently done with some kind of mask to get the soft paint line. The soft line can be improvised by various techniques.

Remember the matching overspray on the floor, frame rails rear wheel well front and rear and any supports that hung down. About 80-90% of the paint from the process when to those surfaces.
