7M8 std bore 428 C scratch block

As the title says I have a 7M8 std bore 428 block . It has an assembly date of 7M21. Which is supposedly the days Ford assembled the engines for the 135 cars. It would be perfect for a 135 car or a early 68 Shelby. It does have a vin stamp on the back and is out of a big Merc car. It has been cleaned and magged and checked out good. No real issues cylinders look good . One odd little repair of some sort possible factory in the lower side of the pan rail shown in picture. There is nothing on the inside at all where this is at. So that's why I say not sure what it's there for . This is a very nice and desirable date code and fits some real rare cars. Picked up in middle TN or buyer sets up shipping $sold pending funds
