What possible reason would a dealer tag on a car not match the dealer the car was originally shipped to?

It may have been traded to (or from) that dealer or a previous owner may have had some connection to the dealership?

That makes sense.  I was told the 1st owner worked as a salesman at a ford dealership in Dallas when he ordered the car.  I can't find the dealer id on the red warranty card.

You can ask Vinny if he is listed as a salesman and where....

The car may have been dealer traded before sale. It happened a lot in the past. Somebody wants a specific color or option and the dealer finds one at another nearby dealer so they swap inventory.

No, he is deceased.  Current owner doesn't know.  I will ask Vinny when I report myself as the owner in a few months if the stars and planets align.   ;) ;

my marti report is wrong
Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .
