REPAIR STEWART WARNER COBRA TACH WITH SENDING UNIT USED IN CSX2201 AND UP

289 Cobras above CSX2201 used a Stewart Warner two-piece tach. Besides the tach head in the dash there was a sending unit mounted on the firewall. Many over the years have failed. Usually it is the sending unit that fails not the tach head. Until recently the only option was finding a one piece tach unit that was similar to the original tach. Some were close BUT the tach face is different, the chrome bezel does not match the speedometer bezel and the needle may differ.

In the event the sender can not be repaired, he can use a TachMatch that replaces the sender and calibrates your tach.

Were all the SW gauges originally 6 amps?
