Waterpump and crank pulley is different between A/C and non A/C

Thanks Bob,
The car has no A/C.

Bo ,cast iron crank pulley is C1AE-6312-A . Water pump pulley is C6AE-F . Engineering numbers are metal stamped/formed into the pulleys so they should be easy to identify.

Still looking for the GT500 Crank Pulley. No A/C car.
Thanks, Texas Swede

Hello,
The C1AE crank pulley mentioned is the crank single grove balancer, right?  The "outer pulley" mostly covers that pulley/balancer and is stamped steel, no?

No, the C1AE-A is a cast iron accessory pulley that bolts on to the C6AE balancer that has a single belt groove and is for a non A/C car.  The  accessory pulley for a A/C car is made of stamped steel .

Bob,
Gotcha.   I was amiss on the non a/c part!

I have the crank pulley. This one is very hard to find and near impossible to find in this condition. The last time I looked these up on Ebay, the sellers were asking $250 and higher. Most of them had chips missing. I just checked again and didn't find any. I want $250 for this one, shipped and insured.

Just food for thought:  the definition of "Sellers" doesn't absolutely define that they have sold anything, actually just the position in the relationship 'effort' or process of transferring property from one owner to another.

So for clarity: "asking" prices might not actually represent market or actual trading values; .............but 'maybe' it's a good place to start.    :)

Hey Texas Swede, it looks like Roland might finally catch a break!

Scode67FB claims to have that rare-as-a-unicorn-in-white-socks crank pulley and is asking $250 for it, shipping and insurance included. Considering that eBay either has none or they're listed for crazy prices, this might be a decent deal.

Of course, as pbf777 wisely pointed out, an "asking" price on eBay doesn't always reflect actual market value—but as the old Mustang traders say, "better a pulley in hand than two on the internet." 😉

It'd be a good idea to request detailed photos and clarify its condition, since some of these parts have seen more action than a hot rod on Route 66. Maybe Roland could even try to negotiate a bit?

Let us know how it goes! ;)

Can you, please post some more pictures of the pulley from all angles.
I will call Roland and ask him if he is okay with the price.

Thanks Bob,
Your knowledge is extremely useful as Roland and I now understood that the inner pulley is a part of the balancer
C6AE-6316-A which Roland will also need as the one on his car has completely worn-out rubber between the damper
and pulley.

Dampner doctor can rebuild your old balancer. As a alternative Cobra Automotive made up some extremely nice repros that are close to original in appearance.
