Few things are a bit odd, no reinforcement plate welded behind export brace and what is that on interior doors? Lights?

Not sure, get an expert to have a look before buying

no bracket for the export as stated prior. Thats screaming red flag already.  Very corroded tag matches to totally pitted rear axle tube.  Enough said here.  Im sure in person you could make a long list.  You can get a good car for half that

Does anyone know the story of why the car had a re-body?

Present owner/seller says he has "no idea' how extensive the sheet metal replacement was 😳

Ok then.........

Definite big red flags. I see no reason that the export brace reinforcement wouldn't be there, it's pretty unique to SA cars.  Do your homework on this one.

Yes.   The door lights would be for a Mustang with Pony interior.    Fixing the light hole would NOT be easy because of the
grain in that area.   It's tough to replicate the grain, after putting your patch in, and make the area look like it's not
been fixed.    Otherwise, it's time to get another door, which pretty much means a repaint of the car for a decent match.

I would be pi$$ed If I were Craig Conley and I read the way the seller manipulated the copy to imply Craig gave this car a passing grade. Craig is a very knowledgeable friend and would not think for a second that he would be OK with what he saw.

Got to love the sale comment   "and documentation from the SAAC and Craig Conley, everything seems to check out,in the bring a trailer ad. If that doesn't inspire confidence   :o

Their trolling for a big fish and one that doesn't have the car checked out, though they are posting just enough pictures to be able to say - we showed you and you should have known

Don't be surprised if the auction gets pulled by BaT.

They have done it before when a car is misrepresented.
