This is our car, thanks for noting it here.  It's a fun cruiser, but I've decided to thin out the herd a little.  We're also listing our 2007 GT500 and 2018 GT350R on BaT, they should be showing up soon.  Cheers!

That is the first Candy Apple red I have seen with Saddle Interior.  Is that Factory Red or a color change?

Coralsnake

It looks like a nice car to start, not a total restoration but a good refresh?

Sorry if thats in the description.

Hi Coralsnake and tesgt350,

I would call this a refresh, as it has a repaint from about 45 years ago, and the engine and transmission were restored about 15+ years ago.  The engine compartment was restored at that time, but from the firewall back underneath it is pretty original.  The prior owner that I purchased it from just added some comments on the auction listing also.  It is the original color combination of Candy Apple red with the saddle colored interior and is pretty rare.  There are more details on the Marti report which I posted in the auction.  I had submitted a car show photo from just before I purchased it to Coralsnake which is included on the Coralsnake site in the Jonny Bolton Ford section.

I should at least spell the dealer's name properly, Johnny Bolton Ford, in Maitland, Florida.  The picture of our 1968 GT500 on the Coralsnake site was from the Cleveland Auto Show in early 2019...

I was a little disappointed on where it was $$$ going into the last day of the auction but thankfully the bidders were there yesterday. Did I tell you I like RED Shelbys? LOL . Congrats. Gary

YW. The buying dealer(for a customer I think) wanted me to contact him so I sent him a text this morning. Now I'm thinking TTs for my car and putting the steelies and hubcaps off to the side.
