Very nice car... in the write up done by Jason Billups he refers to the cylinder heads as C7ME-A..??  I assume this is a typo??

what about inner fender aprons being replaced along with Rad support , hood and nose?

I talked to Marc. The aprons replaced and the original vin numbers welded into the new aprons. I guess a pet peeve while a minor one is a 200K plus car with an incorrect last service/Scott Drake repo shift knob on them. With such a beautiful resto You would think they would search out a correct original flat 3 shift knob for it.

The market in general is confusing to me. More and more it appears that if you have a car to sell, or even rare parts, you need an Agent as if you are an actor or even a band?

Seemingly new buyers would rather go with a dealer rather then go private? I'm not sure why other then the people with the money don't have the time or inclination to do the search?

People want to deal with a "somebody", not a "no-body". Confusing really.

Well this car is owned by the seller who deals in really nice cars. He tries to buy cars that are close to #1 or 2 cars and detailed the hell out of them and is getting the desired result. I'm lost as to why so many do not do that(dealers).

So it's considered ok to cut out vin's from an original car and place them into new aprons?  Isn't that how air cars or something like that come about?

Legal if they are being replace on the original car for a repair. A repair is not what the feds are concerned about. That is when it is typically overlooked. It is when the vins are placed on a completely different car is when there is a big legal problem.
