Since you mentioned Motorcraft your request is most likely not a concours related I feel I have to mention because it seems like you may be unaware that there are quite a few very popular substitutes over OEM that most enthusiasts find noticeably superior . Just about any MFG of the high flow thermostats are superior to stock. A few examples-  https://www.ebay.com/itm/255797216799   ,  https://www.jegs.com/i/Mr-Gasket/720/4363/10002/-1   , https://www.jegs.com/i/Milodon/697/16400/10002/-1. Just to show a few. Any of those are superior to the stock autolite or motorcraft marked thermostat. There are many more . Temperature range of 160,180 or 195 is also another consideration depending on usage . Just from mine and others experience. Of course others may disagree.
