Of note,Pat & Hunt Palmer-Hall's 67 GT 350 got the premiere spot right inside the door you walk in.  And there was a 66 continuation car,#0144 there that had a one of 5 built with a deck lid and end caps similar to a 67. Of the 67's, all looked excellent! There was also 4 sixthy eights.

Yes - Thanks!

JD,yes as stated. He's owned it 8 years and will be bringing it to SAAC events. Said he also has a set of Magstars.                                  The 69 Shelby,a red GT 500 c'vert was owned by Carroll Shelby for 39 years.  It had the few Upgrades CS wanted like the prototype 428 t pan.    I try to post the photos in a few days.

Having seen the car several times over the years under it's original ownership, before it was sold, I have come to the conclusion that Shelby did not make any of the upgrades or updates as the car is currently shown, all of that was done by a subsequent owner.

Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

I have found some video of the show. Most show a strong group of Mopars. I know the GTO was celebrated this year, but there seems to be a small group of Ford powered cars. I would liked to have seen more,as it was Ford that had the Total Performance Program, which was a big part of the muscle car period. . jmo

It was a great show with a mix of Bosses, Mach1's, Shelby's and other great Fords's.

Special Ed

Always surprized at some of the rare exotic stuff that keeps showing up at this show. The unibody 1 of 2 427 ford drag truck and oldsmobile experimental W34 hemi. 15 rare engines on display ZL1 and experimental rare mopar hemis and dual plug boss 429 AND an all aluminum SK 427 side oiler tunnelwedge complete engine fully dressed was my favorite that some kool guy displayed. The high sckool class reunion display was KOOL with guys who still had there hi-skool cars yet and some were day 2 modified like most us kool guys did back in the day. A guy was there with his white 66 gt 350 that was mostly still original yet. We took an all original black boss 429 and had it in vintage certification judging for 4 hours (since we were the only ford in that class out of 18 gm and mopars and a very original toranado) We got the supercar registry award and the time capsule award the highest award u can get 98.5 % out of 3300 points.

Dec 5th 2024. Just wanted to add to the comments I've heard from those that did go to this show and from those who didn't.                         $40.00 on-line of $45.00 at the door is "pushing it". Then add in the $15.00 for parking. This is what I am hearing.
