A bold statement that no repro parts had been used. It looks very un messed with which is a rarity today. I could only tell the battery, belts , tires on the ground ,space saver bottle and possibly the coil wire had been replaced from the pictures provided. Best of luck with the sale.

I just now finished watching the video. I did thoroughly enjoy watching it Cory. It made me want to go to the fridge for a beer. ;D  I didn't know it was you when I posted before. Extremely unmolested car.I am glad to see that the factory belts come with the car. 69/70 Shelby's came from the factory with a steering wheel wrap. Many were taken off because the lace wrapping can make the rim blow horn feature more sensitive than normal . The horn honking while turning was something I always found annoying caused by a firmer grip on a more sensitive made rim blow while turning the wheel but I put up with it in the name of originality. On the plus side the wrap covered any imperfections on the factory plastic woodgrain steering wheel. You can see the wrap in all interior illustrations inside the Shelby owners manual. That owner determined horn sensitivity issue may be the reason yours is missing on a otherwise unmolested car. The lucky buyer will be getting one of the last of the Mohicans. Unrestored originals that is.

Beautiful car! Gold stripe. Too bad about the paint but I love it!

Looks like somebody used the space saver spare and thats why it is a ford replacement air bottle since the original would be empty and they drove it some look at the wear on SS tire. I see very few SS tires get  used since the  unique shelby mag chrome lug nuts didnt work on the steel SS rim unless the owner got 5 regular lug nuts sent by ford in the little cotton bag so i wonder if the bag or lugnuts are still laying in the trunk?

GLWS. I picked up a very similar 53k mile '70 SCJ, 4 speed last year. It's a pleasure to work on an original car. Makes you want to never touch a basket case again..
