Introducing my 67 GT500 Lil' Red Tribute.  Backstory: Every SAAC registry I have stated that the
real Lil' Red was crushed.  1987, 1997, 2011 said it was gone.  I've always thought that car was the coolest.  S0 in 2011 I bought a well optioned 67 GTA "S" code car from Oklahoma.  The 390 had a 4 inch crack in the #1 cylinder.  One rust hole and a dent in the right quarter panel.  Wiped out interior.  Wiped out vinyl roof (was white).  Ok, we all know the REAL Lil' Red was found in 2017 0r 18.  I had already committed to building this Tribute.  I used the earliest version as I also own 67 GT 350 #0036.  Makes for a good stablemate.
Body: GTA hardtop, San Jose assembly plant, Modifications to the hood- Early type metal underlined with louvers, Deck lid: early type with metal under liner, rear valence: cutouts for the early car chrome trim,
side scoops- blocked off.  Yes, Lil' Red was not built with a vinyl top (it was sprayed on) but since this car did I installed a new one.  Tinted glass- all new from OEM glass, Lincoln Power antenna.  Front parking lights are chromed.  The front grill is a one piece angled unit.  Magstar wheels.
Interior: color change to black (was red) no console but I did re-install the upper console, AM/FM radio, Shelby oil & amp gauges, Ford A/C, Scott Drake Shelby repop steering wheel, Tilt column.
Engine: 428 Cobra Jet .030 0ver, Scat crank-rods-pistons, roller cam (mild streetable grind) Cobra T oil pan (Branda's), Aluminum Trick-Flow heads, Aluminum P.I. intake (single 4bbl), Holley Sniper EFI (single Paxton in the future)
Driveline: C-6 with newer gearing and a Gear Vendor's overdrive unit. Rear end: limited slip with 3:77 gears.
Suspension: Shelbyized front meaning Koni shocks, Arning drop, soon to be Eaton front coils (sits too low right now) and a front sway bar from a 67 Shelby.  Rear shocks; Koni.
I haven't driven it yet as I got this finished just about 5 weeks back.  Can't wait until spring to go for a ride.

Superb!

Great looking car. A lot of time must of been spent to the body to look that good. The panel gap looks better that some new cars. Thanks for sharing.

Very impressive build!  I really don't think you'll be waiting until Spring.  I wouldn't have that much willpower. That's for sure!
