WASAAC/WABOSS Holiday party 2025

Just wanted to share that last night we had the combined WASAAC and WABOSS Holiday party at the Hydroplane and Raceboat museum in Kent Washington. Originally we were planning an event at the Hydroplane museum for the BOSS owners group in Washington State, However Mark Hovander who is the President of WASAAC and a BOSS 302 Owner for a long time asked about possibly combing the two groups together so we had a combined party that was catered by the Olive Garden. A good time was had by all and nobody was expected to bring their cars. That was alright as there was plenty of exciting big bore monsters on display to enjoy.


The very beautiful Miss Budweiser greeted us as we arrived at the parking lot


In addition the Miss Bardahl was their to greet us as well!


Once inside other historic Thunderboats were there among the tables.


An inline 6 Fairchild engine an Allison V12 and a Rolls Royce Griffon were there next to the catering table to be looked at.



Both groups were represented on the centerpieces of the tables.


After dinner all the folks that wanted to got a very good view of the Squire Shop Race boat.
The boats driver gave Brad Haskin gave about a twenty minute talk after dinner and even had a 5 minute video of some 130 MPH laps in the Squire shop Boat. The museum takes their boats out for demos every summer and you can even book a ride.

It was a great party and is making us think about the next party already. The next location wont be announced until later.
