Cobra heater

A friend of mine just finished restoring a Lotus 7 and it came with the pictured heater.  He didn't
want to install it.    He mentioned it is also fitted to early Cobras.   Can someone verify that for him?
If so, what would be its value?   He doesn't want to keep it.

It is not a Cobra system. Same brand as used in Cobras but different in many ways.

The one in my Lotus 7 was "boxier".  And I think it was Smiths?

Jim, that's what I would have expected.   Maybe this was an ad hoc installation by
a previous owner.
