SAAC-50 is planned to be four days of fun.
We have the Sonoma Raceway track for three of the four days and Thursday, the first day, is an off-track series of events, starting at the Host Hotel, Embassy Suites by Hilton, San Rafael-Marin County.

Cruise Tour / Poker Run – The Team Shelby crew will be hosting the first event; it will be a group Touring Drive and Poker Run.  The actual route will be revealed the morning of the event, but we guarantee it will take you through many scenic coastal areas, with beautiful photo opportunities and waypoints along the way ...to pick up your playing cards for the poker run. This event will start at our HQ Hotel and end at the facilities of Denbeste Motorsports in Windsor, California, to prepare you for the next event of the day. Entry in the Cruise Tour will include a lunch ticket at Denbeste.

Open House and Barbecue lunch at Denbeste Motorsports, Windsor, CA. - Once again, we have the hospitality of the gang at Denbeste Motorsports, providing an open house and tour of their facilities, and the Shelby engine shop, as well as enjoying a wonderful social opportunity with a barbecue lunch.  If you've never been to Denbeste Motorsports, it is an experience that you'll never forget; the showroom is unrivaled.

This event can be registered separately from the Cruise Tour; a ticket will be necessary for the BBQ lunch, but admission to the facilities and Open House will have no fee. Denbeste is about a 1-hour drive back to the hotel.

For those that are tracking over the next few days... load-in at Sonoma will begin late afternoon on Thursday; exact time will be published in the Official Schedule

Begin the night after returning to the hotel. Dinner is on your own, but we've arranged a Night at the Movies for the after-dinner time. The banquet room at the hotel will be set up to view the movie. The bar at the hotel will be open and popcorn will abound. Tickets are required at the door.

We could not help but notice the pristine, straight, limited access road in front of the hotel. We discourage amped-up moviegoers from being tempted to end the evening by marking their territory on this delicious strip of pavement.
