Dear Racers, Participants or Supporters,

An effort is being made to bring back the track that was once formally known as Moroso Motorsports Track or recently as the Palm Beach International Raceway or just to be kool P. B. I . R.

The facility had a quarter-mile drag strip, a 2.043 mi (3.288 km) road course, 7/10-mile kart track as well as mud racing tracks.

The road course at Palm Beach International Raceway was a 2-mile, 10-turn circuit constructed of hot-mix asphalt and set on an aggregate base. It was 40 ft (12 m) wide with a 1/3-mile section measuring 80 ft (24 m).

The Palm Beach International Raceway Drag Strip was a quarter-mile, all-concrete racing surface. One of six tracks in the U.S. built completely from concrete, it was more stable, level and consistent than asphalt. The track is sanctioned by the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA).

It has a long and colorful racing history and many records were made.

This iconic venue has hosted championship road races, South Florida's most prestigious drag racing event, the Citrus Nationals, and some of the largest acts in musical history.

But on Saturday, April 23, 2022 a "Last Lap" event was held to commemorate the closure of Palm Beach International Raceway.

Originally thought that the land would be repurposed by new development's, it has come to a screeching halt. It is rumored that the cost of running utilities is astronomical and apparently no one wants to pick up the tab.

So it sits dormant awaiting a new owner

Have the demographics of the area that caused it to be closed changed so it could now be a viable financial endeavor? The bottom line is all that matters. No one has ever built a track to lose money.

The Palm Beach International Raceway, a historic 174.4-acre motorsports facility in Jupiter, Florida, is back on the market after narrowly avoiding demolition in 2022 when the local zoning commission rejected a warehouse development proposal.

The property, which features a quarter-mile drag strip, two-mile road course, kart track, and a 13,000-square-foot clubhouse, is now listed by CBRE without a set price, inviting potential buyers to make offers.

Racing enthusiasts and local community members are hopeful that the track might be revived for motorsports, while the listing also highlights its potential for industrial development, given its strategic location and commercial zoning. The raceway, which closed in April 2022, represents a potential opportunity for both racing preservation and commercial investment.
