well after 58 years my console lid is starting to come apart.  Threads are giving out.  Went to my local upholstery shop and no luck.  Is there anyone out there who has some expertise in repairing these?
Thanks

I just used Shelby Auto Trim, Inc. for that same issue.  He has been in business for about 40 years and does excellent work at a fair price.  The shop is in Sterling Heights, MI at 586-939-9090.

What car(s) do you own? I've been thinking for years to contact them regarding doing some repairs. I'm on the other side in Novi.
