Radiator recore

I have a 1968 TVR Tuscan, owned since 1968.  It's totally original, engine, trans, rear, interior, etc. including its' radiator that has sadly started to leak when pressurized.

So, does anyone know of a shop that could recore this radiator?  The tanks are on the top and bottom.  Dimensions are 22" long, 15 ½ tall, 3" wide.  Might be a little tricky due to the fan shrouds.

I could get a nice shiny Griffin aluminum radiator with a Spal fan like other TVR and Griffith owners have done, but it's the UK branded Kenlowe tagged original and its' unique fans I'd like to keep.  It could be copper or aluminum core, just need to keep the top and bottom tanks.

I live close to the Virginia Beach area (ideal), but could travel or box it up to mail it if I have to.

Thanks,

Here's a couple pictures:

Try checking in your area for a radiator shop that has been doing business for a few decades.  Call them up and ask about a Recore of your radiator using your top and bottom tanks.   I did that for my 1970 428 Mach in 1992.  I found a radiator shop that had been at the same location since about 1974.  They said they'd have to see it before they committed to the recore and quote a price.  I took it in, they looked at it shined a light in it and said "yep, no problem, done lots of these, take a day".   And quoted a price.  It looked perfect when done.  he even asked if I wanted to stay with the original number of down tubes and such.

Most re core jobs today are done for big trucks and old vintage cars. Check with your local Brit car clubs to see who they are using.
I can recommend these guys but they are pricey. My Model A has one of their pressure radiators in it and it always runs 160 no matter what the outside temp is.

Hi. I live in virginia beach also. Try Beach Radiator. They have been in business for years and do honest work. They fixed the radiator in my shelby, and my superbird years ago.
