Hi all,

I am excited to say that 5S274 joins my stable. She has a heavy race history and is well documented in registry and Shelby Marquee. Don Buck raced her for many years, and then she was raced locally.

Now she needs restoration and I am looking forward to it.
Thanks to all who have been involved so far. I'll post some pics when I can and will no doubt be hanging out more on this page as I restore the great 65 features.

Cheers

Thanks guys, I appreciate the well wishes.
I spoke to the original owner in the last few days.
He ordered it with a Roll cage and that  was in there when they picked it up from the dealership. Pretty cool
You can see it in the newspaper pic, that's October 65

Great story and purchase. Good luck on the restoration!

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

This one has too much day 2 history to become just another white/blue restoration. Put it back to that October configuration and keep the history alive - it will stand out in a crowd. Bruce Berger bought 020 from HiPerf Motors and within 2 months had painted it beige because his daughters couldn't leave the house without getting stopped.
