Original owner 100% sure it was ordered with it.
Mirror on side I would like to get, anyone make out type?

I don't know what mirror it is but I've got this one that I've had for probably more than 45 years if your interested.
If it starts it's streetable.
Overkill is just enough.

Small trivia point but: 1965 GT-350s did not come with side mirrors.
Any side mirror is a non-stock day-two change.

I didn't run one until cited in the mid 1970's.

Agree completely, prob a good survey thread as to everyone's mirror of choice. Still up in the air for me too as to what I do.

The typical go to mirror for the add on 65 is the bullet mirror which would have been the most easily accessed from the Ford parts department and used on all 66's .The Talbot style would be second IMO. Ether way it is your car so do what you think best for you.

National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1966 addressed safety standards, including rear visibility, which led to driver side mirrors becoming required equipment.

The Federal law only required that NEW cars get the driver side mirror. Most states around that time enacted laws stating that all cars require 2 mirrors. If your state doesn't currently have the requirement for a 2nd mirror and your car is pre 66 you don't need one.
