Found this most excellent video that can assist our Shelby community

Mr. Dennis Collins goes into detail in identifying what makes our "Legendary Rent a Racer Cult Cars" so special.

He shows you how and where to look for the intricacies of these infamous "K" cars, not to be confused with the Chryslers.

Mr Collins just isnt a car guy,  he is a historian and also an educator.

His knowledge, his passion on telling and chasing the back story on the cars.

This story and also many other vehicles and different makes will keep you entertained.

If you haven't subscribed to his channel, don't wait to do so.

And his coffee is definitely is something to go out of your way and  try.

Enjoy the video

Good thing he's in TX where they are used to shoulving that stuff.
He's made big unprovable claims on too much stuff to be believable. It's all scripted for him not off the cuff knowledge.
This ploy of going into detail on a real car will only make him seem more credible on his junk.
He should stick to wnat he knows - Jeeps.

I agree. There are more then a few problems with info in his script for this video. The problem is the general public can't tell which info is right and which is wrong.

Hi Bob can you be more specific? I am trying to educate myself after a near miss purchase of 6S1289. Thanks in advance.

Remember or at least consider every time a previous non-widely known and shared detail is shared it can help potential buyers but also those that wish to take advantage of those that would cheat, fake, misrepresent or just steal from another potential buyer. If everyone knew everything them is would be just about impossible to tell the real from the copies.

If your looking to confirm a car please don't go it alone, ask and get some quality help. If they are good you can't learn enough in a short enough period to protect yourself. Way too many stories and way to many "that guy" purchases over the decades.

Just my thoughts

Let's not forget every original Shelby is being offered by a used car salesman........
