Why is it when I attach photos, only the link appears. How can I get it to display the photos?

When you click to attach, once it is uploaded to the server, it gives you an up arrow and an "X" the up arrow is for embedding the picture in the post itself. When you click it, it will ask for a specific size value, you can click insert to bypass this if your picture has already been sized/file sized appropriately.

Example attached
You cannot view this attachment.

Personally, I just attach them to the post itself and let others click on the smaller pictures at the bottom to open them at will. This way, if someone is on their phone, not in WiFi range, it does not take forever for all of them to load. Different strokes and all.
Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

You can also "Drag" the image to the box.

I think my problem was that they weren't JPEG. Thanks for the responses

What device are you trying to use to post pictures?
