Hey Rich - do you know the owner of the Liquid Blue Ford GT?  That looks a lot like the "Cena" car that just sold for over $1.5M all in,

Hi Ruben,
No one was around while I was taking photos in the early AM. The car was gone by the time I got back over to that section later in the day.
It had an all black interior (cloth seats?) and a PA vanity plate.

Great shot, Rich - thanks!

I'd bet money it's the Cena car, but who knows.  It's a shame, as I'm guessing the car will always be connected to John Cena.

IT IS NOT  the Cena car.   Belongs to a friend of mine that ordered it new .  he drives it anytime he can and has been to a hand full of events this year displaying the car.

Steve McDonald Formally known as Mcdonas

Owned since 1971, NOW DRIVEN OVER 250,000 MILES, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎

Who ever it belongs to, they have a beautiful car

Isn't that that the truth!!!

Look at that thing...it's a race car with a license plate.

I had plans to go but with the upcoming Tropical storm a bunch of us huddled our cars and trailer in a bundle away from trees and structures. Needless to say, we had nothing, but mine was the first one in the bunch and was surrounded by two trailers and two motorhomes. Couldn't get it out
Next year I plan on going to the whole thing and even get a hotel reservation in time \
Its like a mini SAAC convention without the pressure

I have posted my pictures of the event on the LVSAAC website.  Take a click over to see them.

I have also posted the winners of our trophies (may not be posted just yet as I sent them to our web guy this morning).

We were extremely fortunate to have great weather.  Overcast on Saturday which was just fine for a driving event as it wasn't too hot and hard on the eyes.  Then bright blue sunny sky on Sunday which around this area has been rare this summer.  The event turned out great.  Only one person got seriously lost on the drive but we got him guided back using one phone to talk to him and another phone to googlemap where he was to talk him back prior to us driving the Pagoda hill climb road.  Dinner food was fantastic, weather was perfect to sit outside in a lawn chair to watch the movie (popcorn included).  Sunday car show brought out a good number of older cars which was soooo good to see.

Enjoy the pictures.......
