Used the one that has been on my car for years, stamped C8ZE-G and seems the be a little to close to the radiator. Is this the correct part or is there a different part number?

Have you changed anything with the radiator?

Nothing has changed other than restoring the car. Just looks a little close to the radiator in my opinion.

I took some quick pics .If it looks closer then this then ether the radiator (changed to 4 core?) or spacer has been changed IMO. GT350 W AC

That spacer looks longer than the one on my non ac 69 gt350. Amk products catalog might specify different spacer bolt lengths for the various 351W applications.

The fan is different ,the spacer different and the radiator is different between a Air and non Air 69/70 GT350

Mr. Gaines, were all the parts different because a/c cars required more cooling?  :-\

Does re-coring a radiator make them thicker from front to back?  :-\

It depends on the new core used  :)

Yes, the parts were different because of desired more cooling. The radiator was larger capacity. The fan was larger and had more blades at different angles compared to the non air fan so the spacer had to be different to put the blades at the right distance from the radiator.

+1. When having the radiator re cored many opt for more cooling capacity requiring a thicker core. A thicker core will change distances between fan blades and core.

I was thinking that was the case about the core thickness and spacer, when it came to the a/c and non-a/c cars. I'm going to jump right in to learning as much as I can about the parts, the correct parts, for the '69-'70 cars. I want to learn lots of concours information, like correct color, texture, size, years, codes, etc. I wanna be like BOB!  :o
