Any impact on the price for the 428 vs [advertised and car name] 427?
I did not see that noted in my quick look at the auction listing... do they "assume" that everyone should already know?

The mice and their condos have been removed from the glove box and trunk although I am sure some essence of them remains. The cars were parked in 1991, providing the critters plenty of time to reside in unparalleled luxury. 26 years of mouse poop and pee did a number on the original owner's manual, which resided in the glove box. Fortunately, the spare tire was relatively impervious to the coating of rodent droppings.
I had the "honor" of removing the nests from the car and did not contract hanta virus, at least not yet! The car is in amazing condition under the coating of dust and is now running.

It's going to be entertaining and educational to see this car auction. It seems recently that the 428 cars have struggled to pull big numbers but the story here may yield a different result. I've never been to Amelia Island but I might have to make the trip this year. The Ferrari should break the bank.

That would be my guess also. The 428 might even help it since no one's going racing with that car.

What size tires were the big block cars,street and SC delivered with?

     Does one really need to work so hard to preserve the dust?  This can be found on most any neglected articles allowed to remain stationary, most any where, not so unique to just automotive "BARN-FINDS".  And if we're going to save the dust, what of perhaps the other contents and particulate along with its' associated not so appreciated odor?  And then I wonder if U.S. Fish & Wildlife or some other wildlife management office was called to inspect the "inhabitants" ensuring for proper treatment and the legalities of exploitation along with the movement or transport or permitting, particularly over state lines?         

     Com'on ease up on the barn-dust-B.S.!  Please!

What size tires were the big block cars,street and SC delivered with?

Street 427 cars had 8.15 x 15 Goodyear Blue Dot tires...The S/C cars had 11.40 x 15 Speedway Specials at the rear.
