"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

I don't own a GT and have no proverbial "dog in the fight" but it's disappointing and a bit of a let down.  My question then becomes, why wasn't this discovered or at least anticipated by the engineers.  I then begin to wonder if intelligence quotients that are extremely high become vulnerable to missing the obvious due to hyper concentration on more complex problems and solutions.  I hope Ford makes up for it by winning the manufacturer's championship at Road Atlanta this weekend.

The cars sure have performed.
Let's not forget winning their class at Le Mans

Yes, one of the hardest races in the world to win.
