Had a free evening for once

Took 2179 for a fast road jouney

Performed very well.. Do think I narrowed down my "noise" to my RH muffler

Here she is resting afterwards

Good stuff  8), and car [always] look s great.

I'll bet you'll be even a little more happy once you solve that noise!

Keep burning that liquid gold while it's still available.  We're either going full battery or hydrogen in the not-so-distant future.  I suspect when we do, there will then be boutique gasoline stores where those who want to experience how it was, can go and buy a drum to use up on a weekend.  It will be an exclusive club who drive these novelties.

i believe I found the noise.....drum roll please

a loose baffle in the Muffler,  I had banged the bejesus out of the Mufflers when mounted but they were hard mounted so didn't rattle

I removed them as they were naming me deaf and when you banged one, it clanged pretty well

So when I get the new exhaust on I am hoping for a rattle free drive.

yeah, and that'll be a good excuse for another long ride... gotta make sure that solved it  8)

I keep burning liquid gold and rubber in mine! The harder you drive them, the better they run!

Fuel isn't going anywhere in the next 15 years or longer.  There are no practical replacements, not even battery power.
