Need paint code for underhood paint

Can someone provide a paint code and supplier for the engine compartment black?

Allot can depend on where your live (or going to apply the paint) and what is legal and available to apply.

Last time I used Hot Rod black with the hardener. Is a little "soft" (read easy to chip or scratch if you try)  but is easy to touch up to where its pretty much impossible to see if you have an accident or happen to hit the surface with a tool or while installing a part. Goes on as a true black IMHO with the right amount of sheen.

Sure others will have their favorite - often painters like and are comfortable with certain brands so sure others will offer their experiences
