Don't know who they think will be documenting these cars nor in what Shelby Registry. They most certainly will not be in the SAAC Registry, even with an asterisk.

The current Cobra Registry documents CSX continuations, Kirkhams, and even Autokraft.  Will these be deleted from the proposed new registry?

Is there a price drop since it will not be possible to "enjoy a day of training at the Bondurant Racing School in Arizona."? 

And will the customer choice engine block also be number stamped?

Yes, the next Registry will be limited to Cobra built in the 60's.

They were held in such high esteem and reverence for more than fifty years that Cobra replica manufacturers were careful to stay away from them. Apparently, that taboo has now been broken. CS himself stepped on the 3000 series numbers when he built the 50 found in a warehouse chassis'. He went as far as getting titles from CA DMV for his creations. Once the fraud came to light DMV canceled the titles. Those numbers got offered again a couple years ago as track only cars. I suspect they are tagged in some national vehicle database as not being original 1960s cars.
