Tony is a former owner of my Nightmist Blue '67 GT500 having owned it in the 80's and possibly longer, maybe in the 70's as well.

I was hoping to reach out to him to see if he might have any other history on the car.

Michael,

Where was he located geographically?  It might help to narrow down your search.

Good luck!

Car is #875 and originally sold in Watsonville Ca. I believe the car stayed in the Bay Area for first 20 +/- years.

Any history from that early part of it's life would be greatly appreciated.   8)

I think San Jose. I did a search and found many hits for his name in that general area. There seems to be more than one man with that name.

BTW, are you laying on a bag of ice?  ;)

You ever find him?  I was in contact with him when I bought 957.  He makes or sells tea I believe...

I never turned in all of the 65-70 Shelby's I owned in the past.
History book is shy about 12 cars or more.

Yep, this car is one of them.
I know the entire history.
Yes, Tony was in San Jose.
Yes, he also owned other Shelby's
Yes, he once had a gurney Weslake engine, in part.
Yes, he informed me of trying to getting a 66 Shelby, R model type car, no sealant or undercoat, yellow original paint and "much" more.

Hope these avenues help your research.

No, I didn't get anywhere with the shared e-mail. It didn't bounce back, just no response. Maybe the Tea sales will help me figure out which of the many Tony Pereras is the right one.

John, last time we talked, you didn't have anything going back further than Tony Perera. Has that changed?

With the registry getting updated, I would sure like to fill in the ownership history between the first sale when new and when Tony Perera became the owner.

Harris Speedster

So you do have all history from when he owned it and then sold it to me?
Washington, do you know Glen Mounger?

I just know that he sold it to you. Nothing beyond that.

I do not know Glen.

I will call Tony with the number that I have for him to see if it's still good and if he wants me to post his phone number.

Overkill is just enough.

I have been in contact with Tony and the information has been trickling out.

He can't remember the name of the original owner, but bumped into him at the Oakland Roadster show luncheon about 4-5 years ago. Original owner was living in Los Gatos.

Think Oakland Roadster organization would assist in finding him?
