I find this interesting. This car is for sale direct from Revology. It has 3,900+ miles on it and was featured in many publications. It's car #4.

...and, they want almost $195K for it.

Nothing beats a classic!

At least it doesn't have an LS motor in it.

Will they have their own Registry????

They do build them that way unfortunately.

FL SAAC

If it were a Shelby named reproduction, it would get listed in the Shelby Licensing World Registry (since a fee is paid) no matter what options and odditites are included.  In this offering, Ford does not play the licensing and registry game.  8)
Just nuts.

aloha don, so it's all about the benjamins, not shelby pedigree or authenticity.  throw out the K or R designations, anything goes

Yup, its about Benny and the debts.  Pay the fee for "authenticity" so they can keep on Trustin' ;)
Just nuts.

No you are not the only one that thinks this is crazy!!!  Why would anyone spend that kind of money on a car like that?!  I hope the owner of Revology has deep pockets

To me it's crazy but it's no different than someone spending $150K on a resto-mod truck or 50's hot rod.  People do it all the time as they have a lot of money and want something different.  They would also see someone spending $400K on a 65 Shelby GT350 as crazy as well.  Personally, I totally disagree with them but it is their money.  I saw a show the other night where a guy bought a brand new high dollar mustang and took to a shop in Texas and said "cut it up and change the interior to Red", crazy to me.  Of course he rode away in a Lambo.

The body code is in the VIN, who cares about the engine code.  (07 for coupe, 08 for convertible, 09 for fastback).

Was this a car that started out as a coupe and made into a convertible?

It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call ... The Twilight Zone.
