Gary I don't know of that car but it sounds like a winner. Terry is a difficult guy to deal with and thru a friend of sorts had communicated about my 63 split. At that time Terry was trying to get rid of a FAUX Grand Sport which had a lot of oddities about it and when this was discussed he got derrière hurt and I have not spoken to him since then. Mine is a red / red auto as well.

That's amazing.  An untitled 63 SWC would sell for a metric ton of cash if the owner ever decided to part with it.  By the way, a "metric ton" of cash is approximately 2.8 times more than a "shit ton" of cash so this car would sell for allot of money if it were ever offered.  :D

The guy who owns the Vette is a well to do businessman in Bellaire Mi. His shop did a resto mod 60 that got stolen in Detroit suburbs a few years ago. I met him at a car show in Mi when he was selling his wife's Karmann VW vert(her health forced the sale or he would have had one of his Chevies there that have won major shows). Found out he was a "hi-horsepower" Chevy man so we talked. When back at my hotel I researched the guy. Owns 3 auto related businesses. Bought the SWC when 15 after saving  for it for a year off of his dad. Dad offered him and his 2 brothers any car out of his collection of untitled Chevies(back to 48 started with Vettes when they came out) for sticker but they had a year to come up with the $$$. He got the 63. His other brothers didn't do it. Rest of the cars were then sold off so I am guess by he being 60 it was the mid 70s. Sounds like a far fetched story but he appeared to be the real deal. I'm sure if I stopped by one of his businesses an d got ahold of him I could see the car. I don't know the specifics of it all since his dad owned a Chevy dealership but he said her had all the legal documentation/paperwork he needed for the next owner to be the first "legal" owner of the car. I passed on a 63 red/red SWC fuelie Z06 tanker car back around 1986. to buy it meant selling my 69 Boss 429 and Shelby vert. Bloomington gold car. A good friend's sister-in-law owned it as part of a Bloomington Gold high dollar Vette collection(my friend still has the tank stickers off of the 67-9 tripower cars). Terry bought the car and my friend was there to help load the car. When I asked Terry about the car 6 years later he said he didn't remember the car. WTF?? Wife didn't want it because we couldn't DRIVE it. Gary

That Shelby is the perfect driver, get in it and go, without worries, like all the originality too.
If rI was a 68 guy, I'd go for it, but for now I'll stay with my 67.
