oval air cleaner mounting backet

Hi,
I have a oval air filter Assy.  with studs at both ends coming thru lid. I need the bracket to hold this on the carburetor.
What do I do?

There is no such bracket. If your oval cleaner has two studs, it will either have a hole in the center or a mounting bracket in the base

There is nothing on the base

If the base is metal, it is either mismatched to the lid or the welded bracket has been removed

That hold down bracket is what the repro air cleaner people use. It was not used on genuine air cleaner assemblies.
