Hi,
New guy on the forum.
Currently own a 67 Fastback K code, going to inspect a 70 GT350
convertible tomorrow. I have owned two 2007 Super Snakes before, but never a old Shelby.
I like the 69/70 Shelby's, and getting one here in Norway at a fair price is not easy.

Car is Acapulco Blue, white interior and top. Current owner changed the interior and top to black many years ago. FMX auto, 3:25 open rear. Matching numbers drivetrain. 3 owner car with 32.000 miles on it. It is «unrestored», but i do believe it got a respray in late 80's.
Car does look nice, runs perfect but no show car...but will know more tomorrow.

Not sure what value a car like this would be at, any toughts?
What to look for?

Thanks
Torgeir

Dear Torgeir,

I'm going to let others more qualified answer you, but I wanted to say Good Luck!

Yes it is in The Registry. All that you mentioned is what is in there. Check paperwork and windshield v.i.n. best of luck and keep us up to date.

The way things are today a "fair price" is very difficult to come up with. Shelby's are either restored correctly or they are not - the difference between 65k and 165k is in the history, original components left, and quality of restoration. A correct restored car can bring good money but a non-correct or "fixed up" car can a lot less. Until you know if it's numbers matching with a clean history, restored or not,  been hit, has all original it's original glass, is rusty or not,  a fair price can't be established. If it checks out it's a very nice looking car.
