Just a reminder for an alternative to all these cancelled show dates!
IN SAAC still has one planned for Oct!😎

alexgt350h

But, with all the "Big Shows" getting cancelled we might have to rethink our planned events.

Special Ed

Due to many big shows being cancelled or possibly moved to a later date we are expanding our FALL CLASSIC and 50th anniversary 1970 Shelby and Boss meet to other vintage concours cars since several freshly restored cars were wanting to have their cars judged and its looking like they have no place to go to get their car judged this year.  We talked to the park and they will give us 15 spots under a covered parking garage.  So how many 65 -71 Shelby and Boss cars would be interested in having their cars concours judged by qualified judges and awards being given out ?  We may call this event the CC show Corona Concours   HAHA

Special Ed

Got 4 cars so far wanting to get judged anybody else interested? thanks

Spent the morning touring the grounds at French Lick Resort. This place will blow your freaking mind! 4 golf courses, swimming pools, skeet shooting, train rides, horse back riding.
Room for inside on carpet concours show with two four post lifts. Also, in case of rain, room for up to 400 cars inside parking garage for popular vote car show.
Friday we will have a nice driving tour too a huge muscle car collection, and maybe even a tour of Special Ed's shops.
Wow, what a show this is gonna be!!!!
Google French Lick resorts for pictures of the place .
WOW!!!!!!

Special Ed

Pavillion can hold 200 cars if needed but would be crowded.  Titan lifts out of nearby indy will bring lifts for concours judging and they can be setup inside carpeted heated a/c building that is next to the covered outdoor big parking garage that can hold 400 cars for popular vote show so weather wont be a factor here and we can have a dinner banquet for between 200  and 1000 depending on the size of room we choose so we can hold a bigger event now that we got more options and plenty of parking and hotel rooms so this can be a huge ford event!!

The Board of Directors of Indiana SAAC will have our planning meeting on 6-13 at French Lick, Indiana to get all the details ironed out for Oct. show.
After that meeting we will have more details on event, and registration, plus details on classes that will be available .
We expect registration to open early in July.
We do have a large block of rooms reserved at a sizable discount, so don't reserve your room before registering for the show.

Hope to see you all in French Lick ( home of Larry Bird)in October.

Yes that's the famous French Lick IN. home of THE Larry Bird  (the hick from French lick) as I remember him back in hi-skool driving around in a yellow chevy luv pick-up. Chicago area Gangsters like Al Capone John Dillenger etc used to hide out down in French Lick back in the day it was a Famous area having hot springs and selling (pluto water in bottles if I remember correctly) was supposed to be good for your health or so they thought anyway and the old bath houses are still there in West Baden Springs Hotel. Wilstem Wildlife park is opening just north of here having camping horseback riding hiking etc and they have a large collection of wild animals elephants and all big shows. Lots to do and see for the whole family so make a family vacation out of a car show trip so everybody can be HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!
