cobra race double stack valve covers

Dual stack Cobra valve covers  63/64 race.  This is a pair of racing Cobra valve covers we made using an original set off one of the Shelby team cobras we used to own years back.  These are made using original early 260 no hole Ford valve covers (THESE COVERS ARE NOT REPRODUCED!) Try to find good cores after 55  years is getting brutally difficult. Took me 6 months to find two that were good enough to restore and get them done.  The covers are stripped to bare metal and any dings or dents are addressed.  New tall fill tubes are installed  with each having 2 oil deflectors pressed in  opposing directions .  Covers are then glass beaded at low pressure to remove any impurities and tumbled in a deburr machine with ceramic beads to get a nice uniform finish .  We then wrap them up carefully and send to a Mil-Spec Cadmium plater for a proper semi gloss silver appearance.   New proper Shelby American decals applied.   4 New Concours Fomoco breather oil fill caps installed with our concours cap decals.
