You have it right. That's how 3015 looked when it sat for a number of tears at a shop in Sylmar, CA.

Hello Everyone,

Here are three photos that I took of CSX3305 at the last Colorado SAAC event held at Continental Divide Raceway near Castle Rock, Colorado in September of 1983.  Bill Murray had done quite a bit of work on this car.  I think it was mid afternoon when the owner, Ken Wilhelm, asked Bill to take him for a few laps around the track.  Bill really wanted to show Ken what the car was capable of, and he really had the car flying around the track.   I distinctly remember Ken's face being white as a sheet when he and a grinning Bill returned to the paddock area.  The first photo shows Bill and Ken coming back into the paddock.  The second and third photos are of the 427 SOHC engine in this car.

Thanks,
Eric

Thanks for posting the photos of CSX3305 with the SOHC motor.

CSX3270 also had a Cammer at one time, but not when I saw it here in Canada.

Does any one have an idea as to how many Cobras had SOHC engine installed in their life time, I don't think any came from Shelby

with one ?

I shot this photo of CSX3208 at Hershey in 1977.  Sorry for the poor quality but the negative got damaged.

I think the title of this thread was meant to include original CSX3xxx cars. Not present-day replicas. ;)

LT, don't let any kids drive that pretty blue 289 car at night on empty country roads. Never know what might happen... :(

I believe this is CSX3052 wadded up, these two images were in a group of photos (only four of which had Shelbys in them) in a link

posted by 1179/jon , id'd as Willow Springs, but Side-Oilers is correct that the crashed car is at Riverside in '68, can any one put a

# to the yellow car, not sure if it's a 3000, and is it also Willow Springs ? I like the '50s Ford pick . I've included the photos, in case

they  get sold.

I think the yellow car is CSX3020.  I believe Dave Dralle owned that car then with that paint scheme.
