I just bought this.  Has anyone ever seen one of these before?  (I'm sure Ed M has three of them, lol)  Funny thing is inside it smells like Pitstop deodorant.  But seriously, Calling Mr Estes, please enlighten us.

Sweet, would go with SFM 5 017 nicely as it was flown to Chicago.

Holy cow, what did you do with Vern?  Obviously, this is an impostor...the REAL Vern would have a couple of these stashed away I'm sure.  But seriously, does anyone think these were given to members of the racing team, or were they available for any Schmo to purchase?  I agree, it's from late 1967 to 1970.  In CS's approved autobiography, they mention the formation of the Shelby Racing Co, Inc as production was being switched over to Michigan.  I'll do a little more poking around and see if i can find out a little bit more about these bags.  I also wonder if the Bearse Manufacturing company is still around?  They are the name listed on the bag's label.

I loved the looks of these cars growing up.  I had the Hotwheels version shown.

+1 fantastic looking cars!

FYI, that logo was used for most all of Shelby's racing offerings from the period..Indy cars included but TA cars also ran with that logo on them.

Took these snapshots with TWA in the background. And logos on the Ford GT plastic clear covers.
