CSX 2349 had a difficult day on the 2019 Tour Auto. It arrived at a righd-hand corner too quickly, was unable to make the turn, and skidded off the road, landing in a tree some 25 feet off the ground. It was said both passengers were OK.

Holy Cow - good occupants are OK, hopefully the car will be put back as it was.

It hurt me to watch the end of the video, but thanks for posting it.

That was painful to watch. I imagine retrieving 2349 from the trees was quite a job, glad no-one was injured.

Side-Oilers

Yikes!!
I was pushing on my imaginary brake pedal, watching that!

Glad everybody was ok! Huge respect for the driver for driving the way as intended. The king would be proud! I'd rather see someone push the car too much vs keeping it as a garage queen never to see the light of day

I was surprised to see just how many authentic Cobra's are actually being raced in that video.

+1

Hmmm, I wonder how many were original Cobras and how many were Kobras built just to race?

On the 2019 Auto Tour, six Shelby cobra 289 (from 1963, 1964 and 1965) competed in the competition  ;)

+1, but still "Ouch".
