What makes them Shelby export braces?  I know that any 65-66 Mustang that was exported out of the country got the export brace.  Are these specific to the 65-66 Shelby only with some sort of mark?

Those were meant to fit 67 /68 Shelby's because of the bolt pattern.  The ones used on the 65/66 GT350 had a different evenly spaced bolt pattern. The uneven bolt pattern like pictured would also fit other model years besides 67/68 Shelby's .

I had a 67 T5 Fastback that came from the Factory with an Export Brace, would it be the same as the one on Shelby's?  If so, was it Ford or SAI that installed the one's on the Shelby's?
