Meet Connie Kreski at Werner Ford for 1970 Shelby Intro

Here is a neat item I bought off eBay.  It's a nearly full-page newspaper ad found in the Herald News that was taken out by Werner Ford in Garfield, NJ.  It's announcing that Playboy Playmate of the Year Connie Kresti (actually Kreski) will be at the dealership on Nov. 15th 1969 to personally introduce the new 1970 Shelby.  How cool is that!  Just to top things off someone by the name of Nick was lucky enough to procure an autographed photo signed by Connie herself!  Maybe that was enough to get him, and possibly some others, to place their order!  Actually, according to an article in one of the SAAC annuals, this dealership sold 42 1969-70 Shelbys.  Enjoy!

I just read up on this girl. It appears that her home town is 5 miles to the East of where I live...Crazy.

Wonder if her old missing Shelby is hidden in one of the old garages in the area?.....Stranger things have happened...

I wonder if her pink '69 Shelby was brought to the dealership.  It would have been great to help promote sales.

Did anyone else notice the statement: "don't forget to ask about our special extra low prices on 1969 LEFTOVERS". Could they be talking about 1969 Shelbys also?    Gary

Thanks, Pete, for the "Summer Sales" link from the Coralsnake.  That's a great tie-in!  How did I miss that?  I probably forgot that I perused it back in 2013.  I ALWAYS view the Coralsnake in its entirety!  Oh well.  The brain just ain't what it used to be.  My memory bumps things out without asking permission!
