VIR would be great or perhaps reestablish ties with Charlotte and their new road course.

The Roval?, it looked neat when I was there, never got a chance to drive on it

Drove it a few months ago, Loved it. Walls are unforgiving at every track, best to avoid them ;)

Ah yes, I must point out its time for the annual, "I think it would be great to have the convention closest to my house" thread.....

;D

So this is the Road America vote? The mosquitoes clog my radiator. Let's go some place where we need to wear asbestos shoes.

Marlboro Speedway, all it needs is a little cleaning up, you know the the usual, move trees, repave track, clean up the millions of broken beer bottles, rebuild grandstands, etc.
I'm sure it's available.
On the positive, there are no good hotels near by, no good restaurants, no parking and as a plus it floods when we get a lot of rain, did I mention it has no restrooms
But it's available
Owned since 1971, NOW DRIVEN OVER 250,000 MILES, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎

Side-Oilers

Looks like a good location for a "barn finds" car show.

Kirkham Cobra 427.  482-inch aluminum side-oiler. Tremec 5-spd.

Bridehampton is more practical but I'd say it's time to go back to Lime Rock.

VIR, Pocono or WGI would be great.

Thought I would look up the master list of Road Courses in the United States. If you scroll down there is quite a list. I found it interesting to look through, so I thought I'd post it-

The truthful answer is always where and who the board chooses to team up with next year, and the locations for events, but I like this dream list idea more. I prefer the smaller venues. Easier to get around.

Let's go back to NJMP, hotel on the Beach, sand races!!!

Personally, I vote for Chicago and the Autobahn facility, and dinner at Buddy Guy's blues club!

Circuit of the Americas. Austin, Texas. Great track. Great location. And you won't believe the facility. But the track is about $50k / day.
Texas Motor Speedway. I'd be a lot cheaper and SAAC hasn't been there yet. But may be too close date/distance to Mid-America Ford Meet in OK to get the needed crowd.
