We have been instructed by our local former drag racer to install a high pressure oil pump. Not high volume but high pressure. Regular volume.
At Jegs and Summit they have these for Chevy and the have for a Ford Big Block.
But not for 260/289/302/351

Who would carry this?
Thnx

  Bill,
Use the standard pressure pump and the Motosport replacement spring kit. It , unlike the Moroso spring kit , includes a new cup plug.  I'll give you one for free when you pony up for your original intake. Otherwise John Vermeersch ( Total Performance in Mi ) on epay     totalperformancemi   has them too. Should give 80 psi and not suck the pan dry like the HV pump you were warned about.

Does anyone have the part number for the Motorsport spring kit?

Thanks Dan

Randy, Motorsport?  You sound like me, when I call my local Ford dealer for O.E.M. parts, and now I will give you the response he gives me all to frequently:  "buddy, this is the 21st century, and has been for a while!"      ::)

Dan353, for the 351C/M/400 the number is (was) m-6670-A351, and Randy is (was) correct as to the contents, as available prior to 1992.

Buu-uut!   Guess what, we here at (PBF) still have inventory on these from a loo-oong time ago inventory stocking (I knew they would go obsolete, just like all the good stuff does), if interested you may P.M. us, and then you'll force me to go and find where I hid them as we don't normally sell them out, usually only keeping them for our own applications; and as Randy will tell you, I have "stuff" pigeonholed, everywhere, to the point where the pigeons gave up looking for space and left.     ::)

     Scott.

Scott's inventory is so extensive when Ford ran out of an item they told customers to call him because they knew he had it. Complete crate engines to wing nuts , he had/has it all. It slipped my mind that you would have them too. I think I have 5 or six still. Just don't call us hoarders.

I have stuff pigeonholed too. The problem is I forgot where the pigeonholes are? Maybe I walled up that section? Hum? :o

I found some stuff the other day. Its been there so long the labels fell off and I don't remember what they are for?

I only find stuff when I'm looking for something else. Then I put the rediscovered part in another location where I can remember it for sure. Now where was I at? Oh well I'll find it again sometime. Seriously , buying ''future inventory" was important because I/we felt the stuff would never be reproduced.

I think of it this way, it's like the tide. When the tide goes out, suddenly it will appear.
