Pretty sure that is 020. It belonged to Jim and Cheryl Wallace. Her dad was an engineer at Hughes near LAX and he saw the cars running around town and tracked them down to the airport. They sent him to HiPo Motors (on Sepulvada at that time) and he bought the demo. After a few months he had it painted tan. His daughters were always getting stopped and tickets when the took it for a drive.
I still have a pair of 8" steel wheels with the same offsets Jim used on those. They clear the rear springs and fender wells with the lips rolled.
Jim also hauled the Coupe there from Petersen's Hollywood Blvd museum. We all remarked about the POS trailer - but it also was an original SA item.

Cobra Ned

Might anyone recall this early Cobra from SAAC-1 in '76? Looks as if it could use a restoration.
