I took my fastback for a drive last night and had a great time.  I finally got it running after 6 years of working on it (little here, little there while balancing life and work).  First trip on the road was Monday and last night was a little further, hopefully tonight will be a little further yet....  This morning at work I can't get my mind off of how much fun I had driving it, so I had to dig up this video that I have heard probably 50+ times that was motivation and inspiration to get my car going.

This video of 5S003 before restoration(2011) never gets old.  Turn up your speakers and just listen.  I keep hitting replay over and over with ear buds in my ears as I work at the office.   ;D

I remember that day well, cold and crappy. I asked Mark Hovander when they move it back to the trailer to let me know so I could video the sound. He did, someone tracked me down and they waited till I got back to record it. That was a very "cool" day!  8)

Raw, tympanic membrane shredding beauty.  Thank you!

There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb

Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Love it!  When was 5R002 at RA?  I was there two weekends ago for the IMSA race.  This looks like earlier this year?  Or a prior year or years?  I missed it.  Damn!

I would bet 2014.  Both 5R002 and 5S003 toured all over the country in 2014 for 50 years of Mustang.

SAAC 39 was there, also, in 2014

Great clip Brian.

I recall when I had the #3 car at my house, Mark had ear plugs in the ashtray...lol

Enjoying the soundtrack while working at my desk right now. Great ambient background noise.
